NAME OF BOOK:

Imagine

AUTHOR NAME & WEBSITE:

Shoohada Khanom

WHAT THE BOOK IS ABOUT:

It’s bedtime! Yunus wants to talk, but his sister Saarah goes on an imagining spree. She talks about animals, dinosaurs, and aliens as friends. She talks about sending an Eid gift to orphans and cooking extra meals in Ramadan for the poor, and a whole lot more!

Imagine is a fun and creative story that also shows a loving sibling relationship.

WHY I WROTE IT:

My son Zakariya went through a phase or imagining up crazy things. He used to make me laugh out loud with them; that’s how crazy some of the things he would say were. That’s where the imagining idea came from. I also wanted children to see things Muslims use and do being talked about normally, and so I tied both ideas together and came up with Imagine.

WHERE TO BUY IT:

Amazon.com

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
