The latest in Islamic and Muslim-authored fiction…

Question: Assalamualaikum’alaikum. I have been writing Islamic fiction for young children and for female adults. I now want to get my completed works published. I tried looking for information about publishers who are willing to publish Islamic fiction but I have struggled to find a single one yet. Can you please point me in some directions? I am based in the UK. Jazkhallah khairan.

While some writers make a dollar per article writing for content mills, others make a dollar per word writing for high-end magazines and other publications. A thousand bucks for a thousand words is a reality for many writers, and it can be your reality, too. The BIG BOOK of High-Paying Markets, a new Kindle e-book by Amel S. Abdullah, will show you how.

  1. Dear Proud Mum,

As-salamu Alaykum, and Eid Mubarak. Thank you for submitting this question.

You may wish to take a look at our page listing Book Publishers of Interest to Muslim Writers.

Several of these publishers publish Islamic fiction or works for Muslim children.

Since you are in the UK, you may wish to start with Kube Publishing, but also check out publishers in the United States, especially Muslim Writers Publishing, FB PublishingNoorart, and Salaam Reads. In India, you may have luck with Goodword Books, which focusses on works for children.

I hope this helps a bit as you start your quest to find a publisher. Please write back and let us know how things go.
